When Save Your Sole expanded into the US market and set up its headquarters in New York City, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) were instrumental in helping us.

We were initially awarded an export grant to help us exhibit at trade shows like FN Platform in Las Vegas and Sole Commerce at the Javits Centre in New York.

We became a member of the British Footwear Association (BFA) through the introductions which then helped us to secure distributor agreements around the world to export our products globally. We also won an award from the charity of the BFA – The Footwear Friends Award to further promote our goods for export.

We attended the Academy Award Party in Los Angeles at the home of the British Consul celebrating with all of the Oscar nominees (with our products in our gift bags!).

In 2015 we were a part of a trade party that travelled to Shanghai China as part of the CREATIVITY is GREAT program to meet with companies and government officials to further promote and grow Save Your Sole in China – which is one of our biggest markets.

And now in New York we are part of the Great British Business Club and work alongside UK Trade & Investment in New York who work to promote British businesses in New York. It is a group of innovative, creative and forward thinking companies and we are proud to be a part of it.
