In 2013 we launched our Sole Sticker. It was the first of its kind. A self adhesive shoe sole that would give instant grip & protection to all shoe soles in minutes. No longer did you have to visit a shoe repairer. For a short term fix you could do this yourself. Used all over the catwalk of New York Fashion Week our Sole Stickers quickly became a stylists secret tool.
But our customers wanted a longer term solution – made of tougher material that would last longer. And we listened. Meet our Clear Rubber Sole with a Self Adhesive Sticker. It is made in Italy of natural rubber with 3M technology – guaranteed to stick.
So we tried out the new clear soles on these YSL Tribute Pumps (can we just discuss how much we love the dusty pink color!).
We traced out the shape of the sole, cut the excess material off the side and stuck the sole to the shoe sole. Simple. The rubber is easy to cut with household scissors and the 3M sticker is strong enough to hold. As soon as the soles were applied the shoes are ready to be worn. No waiting time. Just make sure you have really pressed down to make sure the sticker is adhered to the shoe. And you are good to go!
